Gunmakers
Cover design for 4-book box set, JG Press
My design goal was to create a dark background texture that emulated the hand-tooled engraving of the weapon used on the cover. I used the font Casablanca, from Letterheadfonts.com, for the “Gunmakers” series title. The ornate scrollwork uses the fonts Americana Panels and Broadway Panels. The Letterhead Fonts website is fantastic, and you can't help but be creatively inspired by their unique typography selection.
